Each Wee Folk Outfitters fairy door and window is handcrafted from solid 3/4" top-quality knotty pine, with every board selected for its unique grain and knot features. All hinges and most decorative elements are handcut from copper sheeting and painted to match the antiqued brass handles. Every door is handpainted and stained, then given a generous coat of semi-gloss lacquer to protect it from the elements.

All Wee Folk fairy doors are designed and built by the Head Gnome, Sean Fulkerson, who draws his inspiration from children's and fantasy literature, folk tales, historic architecture and the strange brain he keeps under his very long hair.
